On Friday, February 19, the Foundation Museum held a unique event for a small group of people. It was called “Shoot the Car”. We brought in Ben Howard, an experienced photographer with a long career at capturing the moment, to provide pointers on how you can take better pictures of cars (and motorcycles). Fourteen club members brought their cameras (from cell phones to professional photography gear) to learn how to better photograph cars. After some instructions, the members had ten minutes to take the best photograph of the pre-selected vehicle. Then the photos were turned in for critiquing.
It was a great event and everyone came away learning more about photography. We will share some of their photos in our next newsletter – The Foundation Forum.
