Friday, October 14th
On Friday evening, the Foundation will host Jochen Neerpasch, founder of the M brand and BMW Motorsports, at a VIP Reception at the Zentrum Museum. He is flying in from Germany just to celebrate M’s 50th with us. He will share his memories of the founding of M, and Motorsport, with our moderator Tom Plucinsky, VP of Product Communications of BMW NA.
The VIP Reception includes gourmet appetizers and beer/wine with your ticket, as well as a seat in the Zentrum for the presentation. Seating is very limited.
We will also be conducting a special raffle that evening for four (4) seats at the BMW Performance Center, sponsored by Continental Tires, as well as several autographed M memorabilia signed by Mr. Neerpasch himself.
Saturday, October 15th
On Saturday, The Ultimate Driving Museum will be open 10am-4pm to showcase its latest exhibit, “The Power of M: Celebrating 50 Years.” Jackie Jouret, the author of our exhibit books will be on hand to autograph your purchased copy.
After your morning at the Museum, we will head to the Performance Center for exhibition laps with some of the cars from the Museum. Experience them on the track for perhaps the first time in public—and enjoy watching the parade lap with our honored guests—Jochen Neerpasch and Eddie Cheever—as they recreate their time on the track in famous BMW race cars.
