The BMW CCA Foundation is delighted to announce that FCP Euro as the new Hospitality Sponsor for the Tire Rack Street Survival program. In 2020 FCP Euro will provide each Street Survival school with a meaningful subsidy to help offset the expenses for providing food and beverages throughout the day for the students, parents and staff of the program.
Michael Hurczyn- FCP Euro Brand & Partnerships Director says, “As a former instructor of the program, I have seen first-hand how much a new driver can grow in a single day’s worth of instruction. It is hands -down the best $95 a parent can spend on their teen when they start driving. FCP Euro is a supporter of many automotive enthusiast events and activities across the country and we are proud to add such an important cause in Street Survival to that list.”

Brief information about Tire Rack Street Survival
Formed by the BMW Car Club of America Foundation (www.bmwccafoundation.org), the Tire Rack Street Survival® safe teen driving program (www.streetsurvival.org) was launched in April 2002. Tire Rack Street Survival is built upon the premise that ‘safe driving is learned by doing,’ and teaches students to avoid accidents by thinking and looking ahead. Tire Rack Street Survival is unique in that it offers students instruction in their own cars so that they learn the limitations of themselves in their everyday vehicle.
The schools are facilitated by chapters of the BMW Car Clubs of America and Canada, the Porsche Club of America, the Sports Car Club of America and other auto enthusiast clubs where a trained volunteer instructor base can be utilized.
The program held 108 schools in 2019 in the US and Canada. This was the 6th year in a row for hosting over 100 schools. The program has hosted over 1,100 schools and taught almost 30,000 students lifesaving skills in its 18-year history.
