As we approach the end of another remarkable year, we reflect on the accomplishments that we have been able to make. With the Giving Tuesday and the season of hospitality and cheer right around the corner, we gratefully look back on the incredible milestones achieved through your generous support. Each contribution you have made has fueled our mission of Saving Lives, Saving History by allowing us to save countless young drivers through education and safety awareness and by helping shape the future of the car enthusiast community.
SAVING LIVES
The Street Survival school goes beyond the typical high-school drivers education programs. The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival program is to provide a hands-on driving experience in real-world situations. We strive to empower teens with safe driving skills to keep them from becoming just another statistic; we want them to become a success story.
We have served 30,000+ students over the years and aim to serve as many as we can. Throughout the United States these schools are selling out, and while this is a good thing, it poses a problem as well. A substantial number of teens are on waiting lists to enter these schools. Your donations will help expand the Street Survival program and allow for more drivers to experience these valuable schools.
SAVING HISTORY
The BMW CCA Foundation was founded in 2002 to become a repository of all things BMW. As a result, our Archives have grown to over 80,000 items and have earned the distinction of becoming the second largest archives in the world dedicated to BMW history. Our ongoing challenge is to make our archives more accessible to the public in the future.
From these Archives, The Ultimate Driving Museum was born, and this year we have been able to share our eighth major exhibition, MINIS To The Max: 65 Years of Spirited History. Other exhibits we have been able to share include The Power of M: Celebrating 50 Years, and a centennial celebration of BMW Motorcycles: A Century of Innovation. Visitors from all 50 states, and over 66 countries, walked through our doors last year; we cannot wait to see how many visited this year.
However, our journey is far from over. The need for comprehensive education and resources remains critical, and we invite you to join us once again in making a lasting impact. Your end-of-year donation is tax-deductible and will help save young lives and help ensure that future generations continue to benefit from the rich knowledge and resources we have assembled.
Help us drive our mission forward. Please consider donating to the Foundation. Giving Tuesday is right around the corner on December 3rd, but you can still take advantage of making a tax-deductible donation through the end of the year.
Monetary donations are certainly the most immediate and effective way to support the Foundation, but there are other ways to show support, including:
- Sponsoring items in our Founders Garden,
- Honoring a family member by purchasing a brick in our M Platz,
- Donating stocks, vehicles, memorabilia
- Joining our Legacy Society by including us in your estate planning.
