    Archives Item of the Week

Item of the week: For the past 43 years, the BMW CCA has held their annual Oktoberfest event.  BMW CCA members travel from all over in their BMWs.  Some go for the competition factor in the autocross, rallies, concours, other events, while …some simply go just to hang out with BMW friends.
This week, we are showcasing a trophy from the 1995 Oktoberfest in Colorado.  This beautiful trophy shows two 1938 BMW 328 roadsters racing down a dirt road with the dust swirling behind the cars.  This is probably one of the most popular trophy designs to be given out at an Oktoberfest.  It was created by Larry Braun.
